A successful defaulter tracking activity under the Big Catch Up (BCU) Project was conducted on 23rd July 2025 in Chiengi District, Luapula Province.
The activity took place in Kanunga Zone, under Puta Rural Health Centre, one of the nearest facilities to Chiengi District Health Office..
The program was well received by the community, as reflected in the large turnout. Over 20 children aged 0–59 months who had missed scheduled immunizations were identified, along with 10 eligible girls for HPV vaccination.
The Big Catch Up Project is being implemented with support from the Churches Health Association of Zambia – CHAZ, in collaboration with the Provincial Health Office, District Health Office and Health facilities in Chifunabuli, Kawambwa, Mansa and Chiengi Districts
